Hey There!
I'm Dan
I've been a photographer for over 20 years, capturing everything from newborns to waterfalls and winter scenes to weddings. For most of that 20 years, my studio was known as Urban's Photography. But over the past eight years, my vision for my work has changed to capturing more infrared, dreamy, moody images. I still have some of my other work in the mix, but that will slowly be phased out. The picture here is me taking an infrared image. 
Anyway, we (my wife and I) decided to make a change and rebrand as Dream World Images. It fits the style of photography better. I do the occasional portrait session or commercial work, but most of my love is infrared landscape photography. My style of images is unique and ever-evolving; trying different techniques and manipulating the final images every time is just amazing to me.
My wife Tracey and I have Irish heritage, and she loves the Irish Tree of Life. I love photographing lone trees in infrared, well, really, anyway. So this was the development of our new logo, a combination of our take on the Tree of Life and my infrared photography. At the wavelength I generally photograph (right now), the leaves look blue and the sky red. Dream World Images also ties in with our travel blog, which is all about life and our dreams, www.tradndreams.com.
Then we get into the images and our website; with thousands of photos, it takes a lot of work to 1. Narrow them down to what to show, and 2. How to organize them in any meaningful way.

Inspiration
Invisible Light, taking what is there and what is only in my mind and creating something unique. And of course Ansel Adams, even though he didn't do Infrared, his black and what are stunning.
Techniques
Specializing in Infrared or Invisible Light since it is there but we just can't see it with our naked eyes. That and no-one really knows what it is supposed to look like. I love that...
Career Highlights
I've photographed just about every genre, but my highlight is starting the studio from scratch and building it up. Only leaving the portrait side to move and help my wife build her career.
