Harbor of Forgotten Light
Tracey and I were out for a drive when we came across the lighthouse at Cheboygan, Michigan — no plan, just the road and whatever we happened to find. The pale tower stood along a quiet shoreline under a muted, gold-washed sky, autumn trees gathered nearby, their warm color echoing the glow in the clouds. Water moved in calm, rippling bands across the foreground. "Harbor of Forgotten Light" is that unplanned moment — the kind of find you almost drive past.
Complimentary standard U.S. & Canada shipping is included. Each artwork is made to order and carefully prepared for its journey to you.
Printed to museum-quality standards, Harbor of Forgotten Light is offered on Fine Art Matte Paper, chosen for its reflection-free surface and nuanced rendering of the muted golden sky, softened shoreline, and calm bands of water. It is also available on Stretched Canvas, which adds a quiet, tactile depth and complements the photograph’s painterly atmosphere, giving the lighthouse the presence of a memory held gently over time. Each finish was selected to honor the image’s sense of coastal nostalgia—a steadfast guardian watching over a harbor suspended between autumn light and dreams. If you would like a different size, finish, or framing option, contact Dan.
